               INSTANT AQUA

Next-Generation Motor-Driven Mixing Valve Technology
Technology Licensing & Co-Development Opportunity
Two Working Prototypes — Seeking Strategic R&D Partner

Technology 1: Single-Outlet Smart Shower
Motor-driven mixing valve for individual shower fittings. Plug-and-play retrofit with TFT touch display and WiFi control.
Target: Hospitality rooms, healthcare en-suites, residential

Technology 2: Multi-Outlet Central Mixing System
Central motor-driven mixing unit for multi-outlet shower rooms. Constant temperature and flow regardless of active outlets, pressure, or supply variations.
Target: Hotel spas, gym changing rooms, hospital shower blocks, sports facilities

Executive Summary
Instant Aqua has developed two working prototypes based on a new generation of motor-driven mixing valve technology — a fundamental departure from the thermostatic wax element and ceramic disc mechanisms that have dominated the shower valve market for 30 years.
Both technologies are at proven prototype stage with fully functional mechanisms. Neither is a finished, market-ready product. We are seeking a strategic partner with the R&D capability, manufacturing infrastructure, regulatory expertise, and market access to develop one or both technologies into certified, mass-manufacturable end products.
We are offering access to the underlying IP and working prototypes through technology licensing, co-development joint venture, or acquisition. The motor-driven mixing mechanism and its control systems are what we are bringing to the table. A partner brings everything needed to take them to market.

TECHNOLOGY 1 — Single-Outlet Smart Shower Valve
The Problem: Individual Shower Fittings
Current smart shower systems — Kohler DTV+, Moen Smart Shower, Brizo SensoriPlus — require a separate concealed valve body, professional electrical installation, and structural modification. None offer a self-contained, motor-driven, digitally precise mixing valve that retrofits into an existing shower fitting without building work. The residential and hospitality retrofit market is entirely unserved.

Technology 1: Core Mechanism
A three-way mixing valve driven by high-speed micro motors physically positions the valve between hot and cold supplies with digital precision. The prototype integrates a full-colour TFT touch display and WiFi connectivity in a single self-contained unit.

Key Capabilities
• Exact, repeatable temperature setting — not a thermostatic approximation
• Instant active correction to inlet pressure or temperature changes
• Full programmability — temperature presets, flow limits, timers
• Remote monitoring and management via WiFi
• Plug-and-play form factor — designed to fit any existing mixer shower connection
• No separate controller, no concealed valve, no electrician required
Prototype Status
Working prototype — mechanism fully functional. Requires production engineering, CE/WRAS certification, and manufacturing scale-up by partner.

Target Markets
• Hospitality — hotel rooms, retrofit without room renovation, in-shower WiFi messaging
• Healthcare — patient safety, scald prevention, legionella flushing automation, remote monitoring
• Residential — premium retrofit, per-user temperature presets, water usage monitoring

TECHNOLOGY 2 — Multi-Outlet Central Mixing System
The Problem: Multi-Outlet Shower Rooms
Public and commercial shower rooms — in hotels, gyms, hospitals, and sports facilities — face a fundamental problem that no current system solves reliably:
• Individual electronic activation via motion sensor on each outlet is expensive to install and maintain
• Temperature instability occurs when shower heads are switched on and off individually — pressure changes in one outlet affect all others
• High-flow mixers operate poorly at low flow rates when few outlets are active — the valve moves outside its linear operating range
• When hot or cold supply pressure drops, systems attempt to compensate by opening the opposite inlet — causing dangerous temperature spikes before correction

No current product on the market guarantees constant temperature and flow across a variable number of active outlets under fluctuating supply conditions. That is precisely what Technology 2 solves.

Technology 2: Core Mechanism
The Instant Aqua multi-outlet central mixing system uses a patented new valve architecture unique to the sanitary industry. The system is installed as a single central mixing unit serving multiple shower outlets or basins in the same room or facility.

The Patented Innovation: Linear Valve Range
The core breakthrough is the flexible opening of the flow channels within the mixer. This design ensures the valve operating range remains linear regardless of:
• The number of shower heads or basins currently active
• Fluctuating hot or cold water supply pressures
• Varying incoming supply temperatures
This means the mixer always operates in its optimal control zone — eliminating the instability that occurs when high-flow mixers are asked to operate at low flow rates with few active outlets.

Pressure Drop Management
When a pressure drop occurs in either the hot or cold supply, the system does not attempt to compensate by opening the opposite inlet — the approach used by all current thermostatic systems, which causes temperature spikes. Instead:
• Step 1: The control system first equalises both water supply pressures
• Step 2: Once equalised, it adjusts to the set temperature at a reduced flow rate
• Step 3: When pressure recovers, both inlets are adjusted to maximum achievable flow rate
In both pressure states, temperature fluctuations remain within the permitted 1-second correction window — meeting EN1111 and EN1287 thermostatic safety standards.

Automatic Outlet Detection
The system is stand-alone and requires no external electronic control such as a motion sensor on each shower head or basin. The central unit automatically detects when any outlet is activated or deactivated — whether via a manual on/off valve or a stand-alone sensor valve — and adjusts the mix accordingly. This eliminates the individual electronic activation hardware that drives up installation cost in every competing system.

A partner licensing both technologies gains a complete platform covering single and multi-outlet applications across all three target segments — with no competitor currently offering either architecture.

Licensing & Co-Development Opportunity
Instant Aqua is seeking a strategic partner who brings:
• R&D capability to develop one or both prototypes into certified, production-ready end products
• Manufacturing infrastructure for sanitary fittings or electronic valve systems
• Distribution networks into hospitality, healthcare, sports & leisure, or residential segments
• Regulatory expertise for CE, WRAS, EN1111/EN1287, and relevant IP ratings

Instant Aqua brings:
• Two proven working prototypes with fully functional mechanisms
• Patented technology — the multi-outlet linear valve architecture is a registered patent
• The core IP for both motor-driven mixing systems
• Domain knowledge across all target applications

Partnership structures available: technology licensing (royalty or upfront fee), co-development joint venture, or full IP acquisition. Either technology can be licensed individually or as a combined platform. The right structure depends on the right partner.

Why Now
• EU and US building codes are tightening anti-scald and legionella compliance requirements — creating mandatory upgrade cycles in hospitality and healthcare
• The global shower mixing valve market is valued at over $13.5 billion (2024), growing at 7.4% CAGR — the electronic and connected segment is the fastest-growing tier
• Retrofit demand is surging as hotels, hospitals, and leisure facilities seek upgrades without full structural renovation
• No competitor currently offers a motor-driven single-outlet retrofit valve or a linear-range central mixing system for multi-outlet rooms — both segments are open
• Early movers will establish IP barriers and specification relationships before larger players respond

Next Steps & Contact
We welcome conversations with R&D, open innovation, business development, or M&A teams at companies with the capability and vision to bring motor-driven mixing technology to market.
Live prototype demonstrations of both technologies can be arranged at a mutually convenient location.
